This tree originates from the coastal districts of Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland in Australia. The trunk is swolen at the base giving it some similarity to baobab trees. The leaves are very interesting as they can have a variety of different shapes. Even on the same tree the leaf shape can change over the years. They can survive light frost but to be safe should be kept free of frost.

These plants drop their leaves in winter. If you order a plant during winter, expect to get a plant without leaves.
