Nolina hiberica

This Nolina is described as a new species in 2010. Before it was known as Nolina La Siberica. It looks like a desert plant but it originates from misty pine forests up to an altitude of 3200 meter in Mexico. It has proven very tolerant to severe frost in our garden (up to -15°C) and has a decent growth speed in the Dutch climate.
