This large Canna species can grow up to three meter and has beautiful red leaves. It loses all above ground parts in fall and starts growing from the rhizomes in April. The Canna musafolia var. Rubrum has very exotic looks and is a must have for the exotic gardener. It can tolerate moderate frosts of up to -8°C.
These plants drop their leaves in winter. If you order a plant during winter, expect to get a plant without leaves. During summer the plants are cut to make them fit in the box for shipping.
