A Phoenix canariensis with red fruits instead of the common orange fruits. The red fruits are caused by a genetic mutation. Rumors go that is has a better cold tolerance than regular canariensis but we have not yet been able to confirm or dismiss this claim. These palms were grown from a mother plant with red fruit.
