Rhapidophyllum hystrix 'Chambers county'

A particulary cold tolerant form of what is already considered one of the most cold tolerant palms. This form originates from Chambers county, which is among the most northern populations of the species. In habitat, temperatures have dropped to -22°C in the past, suggesting these palms can tolerate even heavier frost.
