Serenoa repens var. Cinerea

  €25,00

Serenoa repens is a relatively small palm species from the southeast of the US. It grows from Louisiana to South Carolina. This clustering palm produces horizontal trunks and covers the undergrounds. Because the palm renews itself by producing new shoots it can become very old. It is estimated that some individuals are more then 700 years old. It is very cold tolerant and some sources from the US state a frost tolerance of -20˚C, however we have not tested the cold tolerance of this palm ourselves in The Netherlands.
