A intraspecific cross between a female Trachycarpus fortunei var. wagnerianus and a male Trachycarpus fortunei which combines characteristics with both parents. These crosses display a large genetic variation because some are more similar to the mother and some to the father. They can handle heavy frost to a maximum of -18˚C just like their parents.
