Trachycarpus latisectus cv. Sikkimensis

This robust Trachycarpus species originates from Sikkimensis in the east of India where it grows up to 2400m altitude in the Himalaya mountains. The Trachycarpus latisectus has a bare trunk with large palmate leaves. It prefers a sunny position with is protected from heavy wind. It can handle moderate frosts to a maximum of -12˚C.
