The Nannorrhops ritchiana is native to Iran and Afghanistan in southwest Asia. It is a clustering palm species that has silver-grey leaves. It grows to an altitude of 1600 meters and because of that it tolerates severe frost up to -15°C. During winter they have to be kept dry and they need warm summers to grow well.
