Trachycarpus ukhrulensis is a middle size palm with hard silver green leaves. Before this palm was called Trachycarpus manipur but the name changed to Trachycarpus ukhrulensis. It originates from the Himalaya mountains in India and because of this it tolerates severe frosts up to -16˚C.
